Subscribers whose medical insurance is provided through SET Employee Benefits, have free access to world-class medical expertise when they need advice and support to address a medical issue and answer the questions: Is my diagnosis correct? Will I get the best treatment? How can I get some peace of mind about my situation?
Best Doctors will provide the answers needed to move forward confidently with a treatment plan.
Through the Best Doctors Check-up, a subscriber can get answers from world-renowned doctors who will work on the medical case to make sure the diagnosis is correct and the treatment plan is on target. To start a Best Doctors Check-up, a subscriber simply calls Best Doctors at 1-866-904-0910. A Best Doctors Member Advocate will work with the member and guide him or her through the program. Best Doctors collects medical records and test results, which are then reviewed by an expert physician selected from the Best Doctors' database of 40,000 world-renowned specialists. The expert will review and analyze the case and the subscriber and treating physician receive a comprehensive, easy-to-understand report. Everything is confidential, fast, and free.
SET Employee Benefits is providing this service to educational employees as a value-added benefit of participation in our insurance program. Our nonprofit organization absorbs the complete cost of Best Doctors and passes none of it through to the subscriber or to employer.
