SET SEG Educational Foundation

The SET SEG Educational Foundation was formed in 2005 and has presented more than $34,000 in scholarships and awards to Michigan public schools. It is recognized by the State and Federal governments as a philanthropic, nonprofit organization. Contributions to the Foundation may be eligible for tax deduction, depending upon the donor’s tax status.

In Spring 2010, for the fourth consecutive year, the SET SEG Educational Foundation has awarded scholarships to Michigan public high schools. The scholarships enable students to attend the highly acclaimed Michigan Association of Student Councils/Michigan Association of Honor Societies (MASC/MASHS) Summer Leadership Camp. This year, the Foundation also is awarding $200 to each of the school districts that receive an MASB Education Excellence Award. The funds will help the schools to perpetuate their innovative and successful educational programs.

Our Mission

The SET SEG Educational Foundation enables students to pursue enrichment opportunities that advance learning, leadership and civic responsibility. The Foundation achieves its mission by providing services, scholarships, grants and other forms of financial support directly to Michigan public schools.
