Pool Declares $6 Million Surplus Distribution

The MASB-SEG Property/Casualty Pool Board of Directors declared a $6 million surplus distribution to be shared among members in good standing in the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2008. Each member's share of the surplus is determined based upon its premium contribution, claim experience and participation in the Pool for the years from which the surplus funds were allocated. This is the 17th consecutive year in which surplus has been distributed to members. Including this year's $6 million distribution, the Pool has returned a total of $91 million to its members.

The Pool welcomes the following new member districts, who joined July 1, 2008

• Mendon Community Schools
