School districts that belong to the SEG Self-Insurer Workers’ Compensation Fund will have their premiums reduced by a total of $6.75 million for the policy year beginning July 1, 2010. The Michigan Workers’ Compensation Agency approved the Board of Trustees’ request to apply $6.75 million of accumulated assets to reduce the premiums of Fund members.

Tomorrow’s leaders will learn the skills necessary for the task due, in part, to the generosity of the SET SEG Educational Foundation. High school students from 13 public school districts in Michigan will receive funding to attend the Michigan Association of Student Councils/Michigan Association of Honor Societies Summer Leadership Camp at Albion College in July, because their schools are receiving scholarships from our Foundation. A total of $9,400 in scholarships are being awarded to the high schools. The amount each district receives varies by the number of students it wishes to attend camp, and financial need.
