The camp, which will be held at Albion College July 25 - Aug. 1, teaches students life-changing leadership skills to aid them in their academic pursuits and future endeavors. Students will attend sessions addressing leadership styles, communication, organizational skills, public speaking, team building and project planning. Participants will gain practical leadership experience working on committees and in councils. They will also benefit from a unique opportunity to interact with students from various schools in Michigan.

Scholarship recipients were selected from a competitive field of applicants. The application process required input from a high school principal and a Student Council or Honor Society adviser. This is the second consecutive year that Michigan high schools have benefited from the SET SEG Educational Foundation Leadership Camp scholarship program. To date, a total of $10,050 in scholarships have been presented to 11 high schools.
