Fund has Dedicated Staff Working Claims
The SEG Self-Insurer Workers' Compensation Fund is in a unique position. Its third-party administrator, Cannon Cochran Management Services Inc. (CCMSI) has established an office in Okemos, Mich., which has 10 full-time employees working exclusively on behalf of Fund members. The management of the Fund interacts with the claims office daily. Potential CCMSI staff members must receive the approval of Fund management before joining the staff.
The CCMSI Okemos office is just a few miles away from the Fund's headquarters in Lansing, Mich. Account Manager Eric Genske has a lengthy background in workers' compensation. He is assisted by Claim Supervisor John Wasiak, four claim examiners; two medical-only claim specialists; and two claim clerks.
