Risk Control Consultants Help Members Prevent Injuries

The SEG Self-Insurer Workers' Compensation Fund has a staff of three, full-time Risk Control Consultants who work closely with  members to maintain safe environments for students, staff and the general public. While their services are available to each member, their current focus is on helping improve workplace safety in those districts with the most significant losses. • School Safety Policy Development
• On-Site Safety Training Programs
• Loss Analysis

Risk Control Consultants also nominate member districts to receive the Safe School Award. This award is presented by the SEG Self-Insurer Workers' Compensation Fund to member districts that have achieved outstanding employee safety records. Opportunities for member recognition are an important part of participation in the Fund.
