Access to SafeSchools Online Training is Free with your Membership 

Now, members of the SEG Self-Insurer Workers' Compensation Fund have free access to online employee safety training programs that meet state and federal mandates and help foster a safe environment for the entire school community. Membership in the Pool gives districts access to the SafeSchools online employee safety training programs. These programs address environmental issues, as well as human resources, health, school safety and behavior, emergency management and transportation. The Fund has developed recommended courses that it encourages each district to deploy. Those courses are:

Workers' Compensation Recommendations
1. Back Injury & Lifting
2. Hazard Communication: Right to Know
3. Lockout/Tagout
4. Slips, Trips and Falls
5. Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Prevention

A district that is a member of the SEG Self-Insurer Workers' Compensation Fund, but is NOT a member of the MASB-SEG Property/Casualty Pool , has access to SafeSchools courses that address employee safety risks.
